Maintaining good mental health is a continuous process
There is no shame in seeking help if you’re feeling stressed or depressed. These are difficult emotions to process, and sometimes the more you try to fight them, the harder it is to find peace. Part of this can be because it’s very easy to trivialize these feelings by thinking things like: “Why am I worrying so much?” “Normal people don’t deal with this,” or “I’m sad because I’m weak.”
When dealing with anxiety and depression especially, it’s easy to make yourself feel worse by blaming yourself for having those feelings, and not taking the time to address them. The goal of behavioral health counseling is not to “fix” these problems, but to find new ways of processing and managing them. This applies to many mental health conditions, not just anxiety and depression.
We encourage you to seek mental health services at the early onset of symptoms. Earlier treatment can lead to a quicker resolution of your symptoms. For this reason, we are conveniently located at several primary care locations, including: St. Luke's Internal Medicine Associates, P.S Rudie Medical 贝拉电竞app, and Denfeld Medical 贝拉电竞app.
